Hemp is an ancient crop, perhaps even one of the first in human history: there is even evidence that it was cultivated as early as 4000 BC.
Over the centuries, Cannabis plants, born in Asia, have been used all over the world, from the Middle East to Europe and Russia. Since ancient times, Hemp fiber was the raw material par excellence for the production of paper, it was also widely used for the production of fabrics for clothing, ropes and yarns, oils, fuels, but especially for the production of food and medicinal extracts to relieve pain and cramps in the joints.
The landscape has changed over time, in the recent past, in fact, research on CBD and its new applications has suffered a major setback due to legal restrictions applied to THC and CBD regulation, often lacking.
Hemp is now emerging with dignity as a plant material with multiple uses, to be recognized as a powerful natural remedy for the health of those who consume it, who through the use of this plant can pursue the goal of combating a variety of disorders and painful states.
THC and CBD
Hemp is made of different elements and contains more than 480 active components, each of them acting in a different way on the body, among these the most known are the so called cannabinoids substances THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
The most known one, THC, is responsible for the main psychoactive effect, it causes alterations in the mind and it is considered as a narcotic substance, for this reason it is forbidden.
CBD, the second most abundant and best known Hemp derivative, is instead a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, it is not addictive and has a wide range of therapeutic applications.
The consumption of CBD is legal in Switzerland, and as in other countries, cultivation and processing with different concentration percentages is allowed.
Benefits of cannabidiol CBD
The benefits of legal Hemp are many thanks to its CBD content.
CBD is a natural ingredient, also known as cannabidiol, brings wellness benefits, with CBD you can take care of your body and benefit.
It promotes a relaxing effect, it doesn’t get high and has no effects on the psychological level, its use gives sedative and relaxing properties. It can be a valid help to mitigate the onset of pains or symptoms, for this reason it is a particularly sought after product.
Depending on the products and methods of application used, it is possible to counteract the sensation of pain, reduce inflammation, find better sleep, moisturize and nourish the skin, prevent and treat psoriasis, but also relieve irritation, these are just some of the benefits offered by CBD.
In addition to the above mentioned calming effects, legal Hemp promotes an energizing and regenerating action thanks to its strong antioxidant properties. CBD in particular, is also used in some cosmetics to treat skin disorders such as pimples or acne in the form of creams or gels. Once deeply penetrated into the skin, it acts directly on the sebaceous glands favoring an anti acne action and improving the appearance of the skin.
Contraindications
Free from harmful components, legal Hemp has no particular contraindications or negative effects on health. Rather, some obstacles may arise related to the possession of this product.
Precisely because it is new in the commercial sphere, it could be confused with the non-legal one. In these circumstances, documenting the origin of the product can be rather complex if after the purchase, the original packaging that certifies its legal validity is removed.
